Easter Fun

We had a fun filled weekend. Larry's sister, Trina, was here visiting for a week from Oregon. Our nephew Noah came up for the night on Friday night. He helped dye Easter eggs. We took him to dinner at Fudruckers for his 10th birthday and ended the evening with an ice cream cake from Culvers! On Sunday we went to breakfast at our favorite spot, The Good Egg, and had a little egg hunt for Easton in the front yard. He was really disappointed when there was nothing in the eggs. We did an egg hunt on Friday with Stroller Strides where he figured out what jelly beans were! He would open every egg that he found in the yard only to be disappointed yet again!

Photos above: Mommy and Easton dying eggs.
Easton was not a fan of hard boiled eggs.

Our natural egg dying kit from Boutiful Baskets. We boiled the veggies/fruit in water and added vingear then soaked the eggs like normal. Blue:blueberries, Red: beets, green: spinach, orange: red chilis

Reading with Auntie Trina (Easton kept getting this nasty rash on his cheeks from diving onto the couch from the arm rest)

Checking out what was in his basket. Books of course.
