9 Month Well Check

Height: 27"
Weight: 19 lbs. 14 oz.

Both are in the 25th percentile for his age. He only had one shot today which he barely cried. We were laughing because the first time he got shots at his 1 month visit Larry and I were in tears for him. Now it's no big deal.

Growth To Date: 6.5"
Weight Gain to Date: 11 lb. 13 oz

We figured out last week and Easton loves peaches! I took one out of the fridge because I was cleaning out the drawer. I set it on the floor right by the fridge door not realizing E was right there. He was laying on his stomach, grabbed it and just started going to town! He ate half of it with the seed still in it.

Happy 9 Months Little E

It is so hard to believe that exactly 9 months ago we welcomed our little man into the world. What is even harder to believe that he is creaping closer and closer to that 1 year mark! Time has flown but we have enjoyed every minute of it. Well, almost every minute. Excluding the middle of the night wake ups for the first 8 months!

Easton's Top 10...

1. Bathtime
As soon as he hears daddy running the tub he goes crusing into the bathroom.
2. Eating
He pretty much eats what we eat now which is really nice although much of it ends up in his lap.
3. Swinging upside down
Daddy does it best!
4. Chasing the Cats
Lucy is very patient with the tackling and Apollo is working on it
5. Talking to Grandma on Skype
As soon as the computer rings E starts laughing
6. Kisses from Mommy
Need I say more
7. Swimming
He is such a water baby. Good thing living in AZ. He splashes watches Grace fetch the whole time.
8. Playdates with his friends
We have met so many wonderful friends through my mom's group.
9. Runs in the stroller
Good workout for me and nap time for E.
10. Balls
The new craze is playing with anything that rolls. He lifts it over his head and throws it forward.
Maybe we have a baseball player on our hands. He does have the right name!

Easton's Latest Accomplishments
*crawling at lighning speed
*standing up on everything
*getting into everything
*clapping
*waving bye bye to Daddy out the window
*sleeping through the night :)
*sleeping past 5am most mornings

Fun in the Pantry

First raiding the fridge, now the pantry!

It all started with the bag of Craisins.......

Mmm, how about some fruit snacks?

Next it was the box of dried fruit....

Maybe I can stand up on the box?

Bad Idea!

Finally the Marshmallows.

Busted!

Oh and no there were not any marshmallows in his cheeks..........they are just chubby!

Mmmm......Sand

The weather was very monsoon like last night so we decided to take a little walk to the school playground before E hit the sack. He had never really been in the sand so we thought we would see what he thought. Many of my mom friends said that once their little ones put sand in their mouths and figured out it tasted bad they stopped. Well, not Easton. We let him try it once. Then he did it about two or three more times before we took him out of the sand. We moved him to the grasss where he managed to find sticks and leaves to put in his mouth.

I just love the photos of Larry trying to swipe the sand out of his mouth! Later on when we were getting him ready for his bath we took off his daiper and a stream of sand came falling out!

The lighting was just perfect outside and we cought some great shots. Arizona is difficult to shoot outdoors since the sun is so bright all the time.

Trip to Toy Town

Easton and Daniel chewing on the trains.

We took a little trip to Toy Town today with our mom's group. I was pretty skeptical when I pulled in the strip mall and saw some toys out front of this tiny little store. The website made it sound like this huge place for kids to play with amazing toys and bouncers. It was the size of any regular strip mall store, pretty small.

Easton had fun in the Domino's Pizza store.

They did have a lot of cool toys and different little playhouses but for the $7.00 (I had a $1.00 off coupon) entry price it was a bit steep. On top of that they didn't allow outside food or drinks but would sell you a can of soda for $1.00. All in all I was slightly disappointed but we made the best

The Little Tikes Car.

of it. I found some new toys that Easton really enjoyed.
