Another New Car

After months of looking diligently on craigslist for a used Cozy Coupe I gave up when Toy's R Us had them on sale last week. Only ending up to be about $10-$15 more than I would have paid for a faded used one with missing stickers and sticky wheels. Easton couldn't wait for it to get put together!

Little did we know that the Cozy Coupe has been around for 30 years! Yes, it was born the same year I was and for a plastic toy it's amazing they are still around. They are the "best selling car in America" over the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord!

It only spend its first night indoors and is now a staple in the backyard during playtime.

Congrats Mark and Erin

After over a year of planning our friends Mark and Erin got hitched last night. It was an absolutely beautiful venue (The Castle at Ashley Manor) in Chandler. The ceremony was heartfelt and reception a blast with great food and even better entertainment. I had the pleasure of being one of seven bridesmaids and we did a great job of keeping Erin calm and keeping everything on track. On a side note, Easton did fabulous with his babysitter both Friday and Saturday nights!
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Badger!

Toyota Prius Obsession

I suppose you could say that Easton comes from a car family with his great grandpa owning a car dealership for years, his grandpa managing that dealership, and his uncle Nate being an engineer for Honda. Larry brought home his Prius a little over a month ago and Easton's obsession has grown since then.

Two eye witnesses (Erin and Shasta) have seen it first hand as we will be driving down the road and Easton blurts out "DADDY". Sure enough he spotted a Prius. Doesn't matter what color, year, or angle he knows them all! The funny part is that it is ONLY Prius'.

At first we thought it was a fluke but our little guy does not miss one!

What does this mean? Who knows? And how long will it last? Leave me a comment.......

Mommy's Joining the Circus

Getting Ready, waiting for the call

legs through

let go

grab on

swing back

pull up, turn and look for the bar. I actually got it!
So mommy isn't really joining the circus but had a great 2 hour trapeze lesson this afternoon at Trapeze U. I'm hoping to go back for more soon! I must say that the gymnastics and pole vaulting background helped a ton! Just another reason to get Easton into gymnastics as soon as possible......trapeze lessons start at age 4!

Spring Training 2010

We went to our first Spring Training game of the 2010 season. Dodgers vs. White Sox
Easton paid attention to the game for all of 2 seconds, just long enough to catch a photo. Then it was off to the races with his little friend Max. The weather was just perfect (70 degrees) and the sun was shining. A great day for a baseball game. I watched all of about three pitches due to chasing Easton the whole time.

Max was feeding Easton some of his slushy. All the boys did the whole time was EAT! I guess that's what baseball games are for right?
Our friends Shasta, Brandon, and Max
Caught a picture of Matt Kemp right after Manny Ramirez walked by I realized I should have had the camera out. Oh yeah, should have brought the zoom lens too. Duh!!!

March in Arizona

This past Tuesday it was 75 degrees outside so I figured it would be a great time to pull out EAston's new water table. Thanks Auntie Trina! As most of you know Easton is an outdoor kid. He would stay in the back yard all day if I'd let him. Here are a few pics of his fun time with the water table. By the end of the 1 hour session majority of the water was on the ground.
