Just Can't Get Enough

Many of you know that I have been trying my hand at photography lately. Since having Easton I've found a new passion in collecting memories through photos. I've taken a splash and started my own website to catalog my work an am slowly drumming up some business. I by no means consider myself professional but hope to one day get to that place. I've been doing a lot of work for friends who have so graciously passed my name along to others. Here are a few of my favorite shots as of lately. It seems like I learn something new every time I go shoot pictures and am becoming more and more confident in what I am doing. I've always been my toughest critic.

We are heading back to Oregon for Christmas so I'm sure I'll have a memory card full of images to share when we return! Merry Christmas Everyone!

Here are a few shots of John, Danielle, and Emma. Such a sweet family and so in love with their little girl.

This is an engagement session I did for my friends Mark and Erin who are tying the knot in March. I'm in the wedding and will sure to be watching their photographer closely.

Howdy Pardner!

As Easton was getting ready for bed the other night he pulled his cowboy hat out of his closet. I then aked him if he wanted his boots? He went and grabbed those as well. Yes, not only does he have rain boots but he has cowboy boots too.

He kept pushing the hat on further and further then decided to walk back and forth down the hall way about 8 times. He was having so much fun.

Guess he wants to be a cowboy like grandpa!

Surviving Santa

We took Easton to the mall today for his second visit to Santa. As you can see he was less than thrilled! He started crying the second I put him on his lap. After a minute and me trying to calm him down he still had the most serious look on his face.
Reaching for mommy! Save Me!
This is as good as it got!

Merry Christmas!

Rainy Day

We were stuck at home yesterday as Easton is fighting a bit of a cold. It was such a rainy, gloomy day and Easton had never really noticed rain until now. Not that we get much of it. I bundled him up and put on his rain boots and let him go to town in the backyard. Within two minutes he had already managed to sit right in a big puddle and get himself soaked. We only stayed out for about 10 minutes because I didn't want him to get cold from being wet. Yes, I know it was like 50 some degrees out but when you are used to 110 its cold. He had a blast splashing in the puddles and standing under the water running off the patio roof. Such a mean mommy to take him back inside! He cried.
